49.5 lbs
Assorted clothes--some of mine that I won't allow myself to wear anymore, some that don't fit right or that I just don't care for now, kids' clothing, some towels and bedding; about 22lbs of books and vhs (mostly kid stuff); and 4lbs of plastic grocery (and other) bags--the charity shops are always looking for bags!

6.5 lbs
No picture for this entry as I purged these items in a roundabout manner. I took a big bag of baby clothes to a friend's house and got them to take what interested them--weighing before I went, and weighing the remainder when I returned home. The total weight of the items they kept, plus a book I gave them as well, was 6.5 lbs.

28 lbs
Today I'm dropping off 10lbs of assorted toys (mostly the stuffed variety that take up a lot of space and provide little play value for my boys), and 18lbs of kitchenware (Visionware stockpot and cover, and a variety of muggs and glasses). They'll be left at the Salvation Army and directed to the Forward Avenue fire victims.
I'd say the purge is going well!

15 lbs
This is going to be dropped off later today at the Salvation Army. We're directing it to the fire victims. It includes 2 sets of Little People toys, a bunch of kids' clothes, a pair of Calvin Klein jeans (that I bought at Frenchies a couple years ago), some towels, a pair of chunky summer shoes, some kids' sneakers, and a pair of Docs that I picked up at St. VdP a few months back. My feet ended up not liking them too much, so I'm passing them along in the hopes that someone else will love them for me.
